Thailand Floods - Severe Impact on 2012 PC Shipments

I recognize these articles are a little more than two months old (about 3-4), but I thought they were very relevant.  As probably most of you know, Thailand had severe flooding in 2011 that greatly hindered their manufacturing exports and tourist industry.  The good news is that the country - and Bangkok in particular - is ready again for tourists (see first article link).  The bad news is that as a producer of 40-45% of the world's hard disk drives, this has serious impact upon PC shipments (see second article link).  In late October, Western Digital, Seagate, and Apple reported a severe impact from the floods, as did camera makers Sony and Nikon, to a lesser extent.  Conditions are expected to resolve mid-year 2012.
