Chinese brothers turn vegetables into musical instruments

Ok, I don’t know if this is going to count, but I found this news clip about two brothers in China who make vegetibles into flutes, recorders, and whistles!  You have to give it a look.  I found this clip interesting because 1- who thinks of making instruments out of farm products, and 2- because, look how creative local farm boys are!  These two brothers came up with the idea two years ago and learned music from their father.

Look at this link!

  1. I think that this should count as an article haha. It was a way interesting video and really does show how much talent there is in China. Another aspect I liked was one of the guys shirts haha "angthing isinpossible." Hilarious.

  2. Wow! This is crazy Cool! Who would have every imagined that fresh vegetables could be so great for playing music with. The skill these brothers have in creating these instruments and playing them in remarkable. I play the American Flute, I couldn't imagine playing a sweet potato or carrots to produce similar sounds. This news story shows that there is still innovation going on in China and the government does not control everything. I think this is important. Thanks for sharing!
