President of Taiwan acts with China

Within this article, Taiwan’s President Ma Ying-jeou has been re-elected in January and promises to expand trade with Mainland China. It seems in his first term that he has opened a lot of doors with China but not enough to which he promised. This really interested me because I would thought that China and Taiwan would have a really good relationship and that there would be a lot of stuff that is being traded between them. But it looks like that relationship is getting better.
