Cambodia industry has increased in the last decade dramatically. The clothing industry now makes up close to 28% of their $11 million economy. The union has begun to fight or promote for more workers rights and it was accused that one of the workers stole two shirts. There are three workers that have been suspended and the union is going t obat for them. Some have said that it is just a ploy to stop the workers from demanding more rights and better work benefits and conditions. I think it is a reflection on the horrible conditions that working in an industry such as this would cause. It would be hard to repeat a task all day long for days and days and months at a time. I think the honesty of the workers are being tried and the conditions of the industry/job are being tried here.
