Hong Kong’s shares have recently experienced a decrease in price. They are now believed to be in a downward spiral. It was reported that nearly 70% of Chinese companies have missed forecasts in 2011. The Agricultural Bank of China has also experienced a huge loss in Hong Kong. This is interesting to me because I had no idea that Hong Kong was struggling. It surprised me that China is expected to become the next world power in the near future and 70% of the businesses that reported their forecasted earnings from last year were wrong.
