Renting Workers? Chinese Factories Turning to Temporary Hires

I found this article to be a very interesting look at the factory conditions in China. Most people know that conditions for workers in china are terrible. However, as the Chinese government attempts to give workers more protections, businesses have been able to find a loophole. The article states that Chinese factories employ labor dispatch companies that "recruit workers and send them as temporary staff to factories in need."

The article highlights one labor dispatch worker at Nokia who only receives three-quarters of the wage of a regular employ, but no access to any of the benefits. The number of labor dispatch workers is expected to climb to 50% this year. This seems like a relevant article to read since we will be touring a factory in China.
