In Japan, according to this article, it is unusual for people to beg and those that are homeless aren't out in the open. Poverty in Japan doesn't seem to get a whole lot of attention. Due to this, there has been a request to create a new poverty index in hopes to bring more attention to poverty. Something I thought was interesting in this article, was that it said in Osasks, people who are homeless, their things are stacked neatly in the day time. Just interesting, to think about how neat these people are even without a home and to see a bit of their culture.
