Nissan Motor Co's Carlos Ghoson topped the ranking ahead of Mr. Hirai who is the head of Sony, one of Japan's best-known electronics companies. Carlos Ghoson featured prominently in the loud debate about the strength of the yen versus the dollar. He said that the dollar should really be changing hands between Y90 and Y100. I agree with it. However, I thought 90 to 100 is a too wide range to be a good specific suggestion. I wish I could hear something narrower suggestion of the real relationship between the yen and the dollar.
Additionaly, Mr. Ohthubo vacating the president's chair on favor of Kazuhiro Tsuga, the youngest man - at 55 - to take the job outside the company's founding family.
