Two extremely wealthy and prominent businessmen have been arrested on charges of fraud. The Hong Kong’s Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) is saying very little about the case, but it has sparked a great deal of media interest considering that fact that it involves one of Hong Kong’s wealthiest families. There has been an increased concern in Hong Kong about the relationship between its leaders and big businesses. They investigated one of the top officials because of his relationships with a certain business. This was one of the first actions ever taken against such a high ranked official. This article was interesting because we will be visiting some of the big businesses.

I saw this article as well and thought it was pretty big news. I remember last week researching Japan for our presentation and noticed that Hong Kong had the number 1 economic freedom among all countries. Glad to see that they also seem to stand up to corruption as well. I'm beginning to think that Hong Kong would be a fun place to live/work for a few years down the road.
